This information is for students attending our course. If you are not a student with us we would ask that you do not just "drop in" to watch a class, please. The course is intensive and we do not want the students to have to deal with distractions!
This course is from Monday, 21st March 2005 - Sunday, 27th March 2005 (inclusive, including weekends and bank holidays). The day starts at 10 am and ends at 6 pm.
Please be there promptly! Remember to allow plenty of time in case of delays. In particular there is a major disruption on the tube on the Saturday and Sunday (see below) which will cause delays to all lines.
The ideal clothing for class shows the alignment of the body, is comfortable and stretchy (not baggy) e.g. leggings, shorts, t-shirts.

Clothes & Equipment
The ideal clothing for class shows the alignment of the body, is comfortable and stretchy (not baggy) e.g. leggings, shorts, t-shirts and socks. Remember to bring enough changes of clothes for each day of the course. All your other equipment (mat, sticky mat, stretchy band, head cushion) will be provided.
Travelling by: Car
There is no free parking at or near the hotel. There is an NCP car park at the Hotel but like all parking in London it is expensive. I strongly suggest using public transport. Busses
The 9, 10, 27, 28 and 49 ask the driver to let you off at the Hilton Olympia, if they do not know the hotel then they will know Olympia Exhibition Centre. London Underground
Kensington Olympia is on a special spur on the District line that has trains every 20 minutes that just go to/from Earls Court.
It is often quicker to go to one of the other nearby tube stations and walk!
The following stations are all about half a mile of the venue:
- West Kensington (Disrict)
- Baron's Court (District, Piccadilly)
- Earl's Court (District, Piccadilly)
- High Street Kengsinton (District, Circle)
Note that Earl's Court is a major interchange station with several branches of the District line going through it (including the branch that runs just to Olympia). It also has two exits, the closest to Olympia is the Warwick Road exit.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the Circle and District lines running between Earl's Court and Whitechapel are due to be closed during part of the course. Probably the Saturday and Sunday. So allow extra time for travel on those days.
Rail
Kensington Olympia Railway Station is part of Silverlink Rail on the Watford Junction/Willesden Junction to Clapham Junction
Nearby Hotels
The nearest hotel is, of course, the Hilton itself!
But in the general area there are a wealth of hotels to suit all budgets.
Being Londoners ourselves we have not stayed at the hotels in London so to get independant reviews of hotels in the area I turned to the useful internet site www.TripAdvisor.com to see what was available. That way you get to read reviews and have easy links to book online.
